It's the acorn picking season!

 

Have you heard of acorn picking? I get asked often, "Excuse me, do you eat* those?" when I'm picking acorn caps in the nearby park for the Delica's felted acorns as well as lavender filled acorns. I try to go early in the morning, after my daily run, and it's right during the time when everyone is going to work (I live super close to my day-job so I have the extra time in the morning), so I get those weird looks or questions. 

But regardless, apologies for slow updates in both the shop and the blog, but as you can see, I have been working behind the scenes, making new projects (soon to come!), dreaming about new crafts, and also preparing for the holiday season!

 

* There is actually a Korean dish that uses ground acorn powder to make jello-type of dish, which I use to make it into a delicious salad - I'll share my recipe with you later!
